Mercedes-Benz Stadium was named Sports Business Journal’s Sports Facility of the Year in 2018.

The Blank Family of Businesses is committed to leveraging Mercedes-Benz Stadium as a force for good and serving as a catalyst for positive, transformational change in Atlanta’s Historic Westside Neighborhoods. Through the Arthur M Blank Family Foundation, more than $55 million has been committed towards Westside transformation. MBS was used as an early voting site during the 2020 election and a testing and vaccination site during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since opening its doors in 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS) has been committed to sustainability and curbing its environmental footprint. In 2017, MBS became the first professional sports venue in North America to achieve LEED Platinum. Committed to being a trailblazer and leader within the green sports industry, MBS’ sustainability efforts have extended well past the construction phase of the building and continue to expand. MBS has developed and implemented a variety of green practices, such as water, energy, recycling and compost, alternative transportation, urban garden and agriculture programs.
