Tim Kent (b. 1991 Atlanta, GA) received a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA, in 2014. Kent’s work features stretched canvas as a sculptural medium. His three-dimensional work focuses on bringing space and volume to geometric patterns prominent throughout Street Art. Kent has exhibited at Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Hamptons Fine Art Fair, and is published in New American Paintings. He has shown in several exhibitions throughout the United States and is the recipient of an Alumni Atelier Artist Residency at Savannah College of Art and Design (2017). His installations have also been used in several client’s regional/national marketing campaigns. Since founding a pop-up gallery in Lenox Square, Kent has worked with art consultants and galleries to create large format installations for corporations and collectors located in: Manhattan, Silicon Valley, Miami, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Savannah, Austin, Phoenix, Kansas City, Boston and Ontario.
