Fans To Experience First Live Roof-Opening Event

ATLANTA – July 9, 2018 – The Atlanta Falcons will host the first-ever open practice inside their home venue, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, on Sunday, July 29 at 12:00pm. The “Together We Rise – Falcons Fan Day” event and fully-padded practice will mark the third day of training camp for the Falcons when they report back for the 2018-2019 season and provides both season ticket members and the general public with the opportunity to watch the Falcons practice in the one-of-a-kind Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Tickets for the event will be $5 per person with all ticketing proceeds benefiting the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee’s capital improvement project.

Falcons Fan Day entertainment will kick-off when gates open at 11:00am and fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s award-winning Food & Beverage experience offered at fan-first prices, cheerleader and drumline performances, youth flag football scrimmages as well as a host of engaging live-event entertainment.

To further delight fans and add to the Fan Day entertainment, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is planning its first public and live roof-opening showcase to celebrate the completion of this one-of-a-kind design and engineering marvel. The ceremony will begin at 12:00pm to kick-off practice and festivities, subject to weather-related safety considerations.
