Mercedes-Benz Stadium earns No. 1 ranking among NFL venues and repeats as the nation’s top stadium for food

ATLANTA (August 19, 2026) – Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been voted the Best NFL Stadium and Best Stadium for Food in the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, earning the top spot in both categories through nationwide fan voting.

The recognition marks the second consecutive year Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been named No. 1 for Best Stadium Food, while the stadium moved from No. 2 in the Best NFL Stadium category in 2025 to No. 1 in 2026.

“Being voted the best NFL stadium in the country and, for the second year in a row, the best stadium for food is especially meaningful because these honors come directly from fans,” said President, AMBSE, Tim Zulawski. “From the beginning, our goal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium has been to create an experience that puts fans first in every way, from the moment they arrive to the food they enjoy to the atmosphere they experience. These awards are a tremendous reflection of our team and partners who bring that commitment to life at every event.”

The dual No. 1 rankings continue a milestone year for Mercedes-Benz Stadium following its role as a host venue for the FIFA World Cup 2026 where it took home best World Cup venue ranked by USA Today, Sports Illustrated and The Athletic. The stadium welcomed fans from around the world for eight matches, including a semifinal, further showcasing Atlanta and Mercedes-Benz Stadium as a premier destination for the world’s biggest sports and entertainment events.

Since opening in 2017, Mercedes-Benz Stadium has focused on redefining the traditional stadium experience through innovative design and technology, operational excellence and a commitment to affordability and quality. Its food and beverage program has been central to that approach, beginning with the introduction of Fan First Menu pricing when the stadium opened and continuing through an evolving culinary program designed to reflect both Atlanta and the expectations of today’s fans.

USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards begin with nominees selected by panels of industry experts and 10Best editors. The public then votes to determine the top 10 winners in each category.
