The 2024 slate is highlighted by increased programming in the areas of Inspired Learning and Arts & Culture with over 100 combined offerings throughout the season.

Among the community partners spearheading the HDBY’s Inspired Learning programming are Brown Toy Box, an Atlanta-based, Black and woman-owned S.T.E.A.M. play and education company that will offer family-friendly learning modules and workshops, as well as the Welch Martial Arts Experience, an organization based in Atlanta’s historic Westside that will lead weekly S.A.F.E. Self Defense classes and martial arts training. Additional inspired learning programs include classes led by Atlanta Falcons personnel, outdoor cooking classes led by chef Justin Robinson, youth soccer clinics hosted by Atlanta United Foundation, bike riding classes with Propel ATL, natural haircare classes, pet-centric programming, veteran workshops, and other offerings.

Headlining Arts & Culture offerings at the HDBY this season will be community partners Dance Canvas, anon-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities and venues to increase the awareness of professional dance in Atlanta, along with Sway Art, an Atlanta-based art brand that will host a multitude of programs such as pottery making and ‘paint and sip’ classes.
